Fashion Praxis : Fashion + Politics Symposium - Event Planner, Graphic Designer + Speaker
As the President of the Dress Practice Collective, Cayla orchestrated an academic symposium alongside esteemed faculty member, Professor Hazel Clark, and the committee members. The two-day event coincided with the release of the second issue of BIAS : Fashion + Politics, and consisted of a lecture series and book launch party. Cayla facilitated all aspects of the event through the creation of graphic content, distribution of promotional materials, organization of planning committees, and acted as liaison between visiting scholars, academic speakers and student facilitators. She was honored to host and present Professor Susan Kaiser as the keynote speaker amongst many other Parsons faculty.
